The delegation of HUT, leaded by Professor Xiong Jianming, smoothly arrived in Australia and then paid a visit to the University of Tasmania of Australia On Tuesday,the 1st April 2008.
The President of the University of Tasmania of Australia, Professor Daryl Le Grew, and staff from the International Office and the Computer School met the delegation from HUT. Both parties had formal talks. Then, the two Presidents signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU formally establishes the relationship between HUT and UTAS, and sets the scene for future collaboration in teaching and research. Both Presidents expressed a strong desire to work together to produce fruitful outcomes for HUT and UTAS, that will also contribute to the development of Hubei Province and the State of Tasmania in Australia.
